It's been a while...

Ik heb niet stil gezeten in de 2 maanden dat ik geen berichtje heb achtergelaten op mijn blog. Ik heb een Twitter berichtje geschreven, ik heb een vis geadopteerd en het uiterlijk veranderd. En dat alles in enkele minuten die ik elke keer kan. Maar vandaag ga ik even wat kaartjes plaatsen.

 

 

 

 

Ik heb heel lang op de nieuwe collectie van High Hopes gewacht maar toen ze er waren ben ik direct los gegaan. Het blijft toch 1 van mijn favoriete merken. Het was direct ook het laatste wat ik heb gemaakt. Deze week ben ik niet zo actief geweest.

Wednesday I thought about the blogcandy but I totally forgot to publish the winner so today I will have to do it all over again. I added the random.org widget on my sidebar to make my life easier in the future...LOL.
The lucky number out of 10 (Diana was excluded and Carole had a very sweet bur wrong answer)contestants was...NUMBER 9!

Cards and candy

This week I made a lot of cards (well not so much but for me these are a huge number LOL) for Card Art.
First of all the Card Art Card Kit was shipped and we from the DT make a number of cards and sometimes a project. This month project is from Inge. Oh my gosh she created such a lovely notebook!

This is one of the cards I made:
 

I did not have my glasses on and I made a mistake on this one.

Everybody who notice what is wrong with the card can leave a message. On wednessday I will randomly pick a winner from the wright answers and this person gets a little paperkit.

(I corrected the mistake at once when I was told by Diana. So Diana ssshhht! And you are excluded from this candy, sorry!)

Doorcounty Rubberstamps - Tracy

It's a rainy day here in Holland. Time for a card since we will not leave the house today. How do you like my new stamp from Doorcounty Isn't she lovely this wonderful cherrie girl? Check out the little cherries on her dress...to cute! This card is made for my nice Cherize. The stamp fits perfectly with her name.

 

The card is made with the Mia collection from Crate Paper.

Door County Apple Harvest

Zoals jullie al eerder hebben gezien ben ik heel erg gecharmeerd van de Door County Stamps. De stempels zijn waanzinnig mooi gedetailleerd getekend maar toch zo neutraal dat je ze eigenlijk in combinatie met elk papiertje kunt gebruiken. Voor Apple Harvest heb ik gekozen voor een printje van Crate uit de begin tijd. Super fris papier met een vleugje vintage.

 

Voor het appel thema kwam de tekst van Stamping Bella heel goed van pas net als de mini apples van QuicKutz. Ik gebruik mijn tang veel te weinig terwijl ik toch best leuke dies heb, al zeg ik het zelf.
Om een beter contrast te maken heb ik de appels iets gekleurd met een groene Prisma potlood en de steeltjes gekleurd met een Copic (lukte net...LOL). De randen van de blaadjes zijn iets aangezet met distressinkt. De bloemetjes zijn goed geglitterd met Stickles.
Helaas nu maar 1 kaartje, ik hoop dat ik vandaag nog 1 kan maken.

Magnolia princess...

Wie kan deze waanzinige Tilda nou weerstaan? Nou ik niet. Deze laat me zo denken aan mijn puber dochter van 13, bijna 14. Natuurlijk is zij mijn kleine prinses maar soms gedraagd ze zich als een klein (verwend) prinsesje. Dat betekend dat wij vaak moeten vechten om de troon (ik als keuken princes...LOL). Ik hoop dat ze de boodschap begrijpt...moeder zijn kan soms ook moeilijk zijn.

Who can resist this wonderful Tilda with crown. Well, I don't. She so reminds me of my DD who is like my little princess but for sure acts sometimes she acts like a little (spoiled) princess. She is 13 and soon will be 14 but from time to time we have to fight for the throne *LOL*
I made her this card. I hope she gets the message...being a mother can be hard some times.

Time to play...

I made some time to play with materials I' ve had for a long time. After a long conversation with an inpirering lady (* Hi very inspirering lady *) I decides to take out the Chichiboulie's out of my Bella-buildah-binder and start playing.

This is the result of a wonderful afternoon. Me, my paper and my stamps. How refreshing! The paper I used are from the Delightful collection from My mind's eye. Always nice, no matter in what year it came on to the market. Oh and check out the Dutcch senties...

 

The layout I used for the following card was a layout made by Betina for the Scrapfun challange of februari. Yes I am late but it's still februari;) The truth...the challange was to big for me. I tried but the card turned out so not like the layout I had to use. I failed...

 

I love the following stamp. Georgina Glammourpous reminds me of my daughter. She is so DIVA! The senties are saying 'It's your day, have a nice day'.

   

The images are colored in with Polychromos pencils. The wings are well glittered with Spica. To bad this doesn't show on the photo.

Mixing bussiness with pleasure...

It has been a while since I had time to blog. That doesn't mean I wasn't able to make cards! I made cards for the Card Art website and some of those I will blog.

The februari kit contained Basic Grey's Marrakesh paper this month. Lovely, corolfull paper. My friend Diana celebrated her 40th birthday in august and celebrated it two weeks ago with her husband who also turned 40. This gave me time to take 6 months to make her birthday card;) It was a project that I made for a workshop I gave early february but this time I customade it for a stylish lady.

For the website I made a project with Crate Paper. A wonderful collection with cute diecuts. This project is for Inge (*Inge close your eyes!!!*). Inge is a very dear friend wich inspirers me in so many ways. The sentiment inside is really made for her!
I called the model a Zig-Zag suprise card. I like to make projects with flaps and pocket with all kinds of sentiments. The whole project and how to make it is on the Card Art website.

 

And last but not least I made a card with an image from the Whiff of Joy spring kit wich will soon be available at the webshop. I new right away that the paper I would use for this stamps had te be from Daisy Bucket.

 

Don't mind the leaves, I couldn't find the right QK leaves;)

Every day

Dit keer een kaartje met de Every Day serie van Bildmalarna. Met deze stempel zag ik verschillende mogelijkheden waaronder deze in combinatie met een tekst van House Mouse.

 

Het papier is van My Mind's eye en de bloemen natuurlijk van Prima. Het afdrukje is ingekleurd met Prisma poloden.
