Cute Card Thursday

Now that I have vacation I thought it would be nice to do some challanges. Normally I don't have so much time for crafting but now that I have some extra time I decided that it is time to craft.

The theme for the cahllange on Cute Card Thursday for this week is 'Things that grow'. This inspired me to make a card with the theme 'Friendship'. Friendship is something that has to grow and will continuing growing as time goes by. As a matter of fact it is something that will never stop growing as long as there is enough sunshine (lgood times), rain (bad times) and vitamines (love).
To all people who enrich my days in one way or another ...Thanks for being there!

Sentiments

Ik kan geen genoeg krijgen van teksten. Maar het leukste vind ik als ik een grappige tekst vind die ik bij meerdere plaatsjes kan gebruiken.
De tekst is oorspronkelijk een sentiment van High Hopes Rubber Stamps maar ik vond dat hij best paste bij de stempels van Stamping Bella en CC Designs.

I can't get enough of sentiments. I like to find a text that I can use with several stamps. This sentiment is originally from High Hopes Rubberstamps but I tought that it goes perfect with the image of Stamping Bella and CC Designs.

Ingredients: designpaper (Basic Grey), stamp (Stamping Bella), sentiment (High Hopes), flowers, brads and Scrappers Floss. Tools: Nestabilitie dies long rectangle and Prisma Color pencils

Tools: Stapler , Nestabilitie die Classic scallopes circle, Pantone alcoholmarkers.

Ditjes en datjes...

Vandaag even geen kaartjes. Ik ben bezig met ditjes en datjes. Ik heb mijn blogje een beetje aangepast en een beetje gesurfd. Iedereen is aan het genieten van het mooie weer en dat ga ik ook zo doen. Ik wil nog wel even mijn nominatie showen. Ik ben genomineerd door Sandra.

Ik ben een beetje gaan kijken maar iedereen is al zo'n beetje genomineerd. En terecht want alle blogjes die ik graag bezoek zijn van hele lieve getalenteerde mensen. Maar ik heb nog wel twee mensen gespot die de award nog niet op hun blog hebben gezet. Inge en Moon!

Sweet Ebony

I just can't get enough of her...

Ingredients: designpaper (antique Chatterbox), stamp (Sugar Nellie), sentiment (Elzybells), Scrapper Floss, Flowers and brads.

The next image is colored with alcohol markers from Pantone. I saw the most beatiful coloring with Copic markers but these are quite expensive to buy just to try. I will never be a coloring queen so I bought these. And I'm glad because coloring with markers just isn't my thing. It's very difficult. Maybe if I try more but for the time being I'll keep on using these markers. No blending, no shadow just plain and simple.

Nieuwe stempels

Katharina is haar eigen bedrijf begonnen. Whiff of Joy zal de komende tijd stempels maken met o.a. Elizabeth Bell en Alison Acton. Katharina is op zoek naar guest designers voor haar DT en heeft een layout op haar blog gezet. Ik doe niet mee maar vond de basis layout leuk om nog even een kaartje voor haar te maken met een Sugar Nellie stempel ontworpen door Elizabeth Bell en de restjes van het Pebbles Inc. kerstpapier. De tekst spreekt voor zich.

Katharina started her own companny. Whiff of Joy will be making stamps with Elizabeth Bell and Alison Acton. Katharina is looking for guest designers for her wonderful DT and made a layout for people who want to enter the compitition. Ofcourse I'm not applying but I thought the layout was nice and I made her a card with the Pebbles inc. paper and a Sugar Nellie stamp designed by Elizabeth Bell.

Nog twee...

Nog twee kerstkaartjes met Honey en Pip. Het kerstpapier is nog van vorig jaar maar daarom niet minder leuk. Ik weet uit ervaring dat als je op tijd met kerstkaarten wilt beginnen dat je kerstpapier in je archief moet hebben zitten omdat je het pas laat kan kopen.
Ik ben nog steeds heel erg blij met mijn QuicKutz stansjes. Ze zijn volgens mij al antiek maar ik ben zo blij dat ik ze in mijn collectie heb.

Another two cards with Honey and Pip. The designpaper is from last year but I still like it. I know that when you want to start on time with christmas cards you have to have paper in your achive. I'm so glad I have the QuicKutz dies in my collection. They always come out handy when it comes to christmas cards.

Kerst

Om een beetje op tijd te zijn met mijn kerstkaarten dit jaar ben ik alvast begonnen. De winter stempels van Honey and Pip (Sugar Nellie) zijn echt te leuk. Het blokje is lekker oud.

To finsih on time this year with my Christmas cards I already started. The winter images from Honey and Pip (Sugar Nellie) are really cute. My paperpad is kind a old.

Sweet Ebony

Ik ben dol op de Sweet Ebony collectie van Sugar Nellie. Helaas zijn ze nog niet leverbaar in de Nederlandse winkels. Zelf kon ik niet wachten en heb alvast de series besteld bij Funky Kits. En daar heb ik geen spijt van.

I love the Sweet Ebony collection from Sugar Nellie. To bad they are not available yet in the Dutch stores. I couldn't waith and ordered my stamps at Funky Kits.

Nog twee kaartjes

Terwijl vorige week de ellende van mijn pc langer ging duren had ik nog steeds tijd om te knutselen. Twee kaartjes met papier van Daisy Bucket. Nu ga ik gauw aan het werk voor Card Art's juli kit. Het is bijna allemaal ingepakt. Nu de voorbeeldjes nog.

I'm off to work on Card Art's july kit wich I will post tommorow. I hope I have enough examples by then.
